Wondering Which Things to do in Barcelona? Read it Here!

Wondering what are the things to do in Barcelona? Don’t wonder, start to ponder the below listed.

1. Sagrada Família
This is where the adventure begins in Barcelona. The dreamy Antoni Gaudi’s project of incredible scale & ambition can be seen through Sagrada Familia. The building completed 140 years after Gaudi first involved in the project. It is the tallest church constructions in the world and barely resembles any spiritual structure sign.

The interesting fact about Sagrada Familia is that it involves diverse architectural styles counting Catalan Modernism, Spanish Late-Gothic, and Art Nouveau. However, this masterpiece of Gaudi challenges the traditional statement of art as you look at its ceiling of the nave.
2. Las Ramblas
This is the best place to take a little break from covering all the attractive sights of Barcelona and catch your breath. Las Ramblas is the majestic street-like area where you can enjoy freshly baked waffles and sit or walk under the sequence of big trees. If you are visiting Barcelona in summers, this is the place where you would want some amazing pictures to be taken of yours. You can sit here, enjoy nature, entertain yourself with street performances, or feel pleasant by purchasing some heavenly fragranced flowers.
You can also visit the nearby Maremagnum mall or aquarium. There is a lot of sightseeing and attraction points in Las Ramblas that you can explore once you visit it.
3. Casa Milà
A.K.A. La Pedrera, Casa Mila is the front building that looks like the face of the quarry. The building was completed in 1912 and is another name in the Gaudi’s artwork.
Casa Mila is one of many Catalan modernist works that is listed by UNESCO. It was the 4th and last Gaudi construction on Passeig De Gracia.
You can see numerous contemporary innovations here counting stone façade & underground car parking. The building was originally designed for Pere Mila I Camps – a famous industrialist – to be his home where the apartments on the upper floor are on rent.
4. Casa Batlló
Another attractive building name in Gaudi’s list is Casa Batllo. The amazing apartment block was remodeled in the 20th century. The beautiful blue stones and artwork looks like a dragon. The roof of the building can be seen from a great distance and you can find it easily. Casa Batllo has supple quality, stunning details, and smooth straight lines. This makes the building more attractive and visitable. You can find cosy mushroom-shaped fireplaces, which were designed especially for the couples. This makes it the best honeymoon destination as well.
5. Barcelona City Beach
Get tanned on Barcelona City Beach. However, it might take a few hours to travel from Barceloneta to Diagonal Mar by walk but it’s worth trying. You can find a tight lattice of famous shops and bars with outdoor seating & terraces. You can have a memorable time there.
So, which one did you like the most? Whichever you add to your things to do in santorini, it will simply take your breath away with the art, culture, nature, and food.
